The purpose of the PPG
The purpose of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) is to reflect back to our practice views of patients and carers across our community. We especially would like to reach the groups that are currently under-represented.
Our aims
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we have set up two PPG’s ; actual and virtual groups to represent patients so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We might also invite you to join us at meetings. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take up too much of your time.
We aim to recruit as many patients as we can from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
Joining us
Please email [email protected] if you would like to sign up for either the actual or virtual Patient Participation Group.
We will be most grateful for your contribution.
